Integrated software platform that electronically matches government COVID-19 vaccine supply with demand. MyShot’s algorithm calculates recommended allocation of vaccines to providers based on local demand, provider capacity, and vaccine supply. Demographic data is collected to provide analytics around vaccine distribution.

Shaila brings proven experience launching and developing new products, services, and businesses. During this time, she has held senior leadership roles in public, private, and non-profit organizations.

Most recently, she developed strategy, defined product roadmaps, established target markets and brand identities for companies such as Cisco, Verizon, Sprint, Paradata, Pure Digital (Flip Video), and others. Shaila has also co-founded a wireless company that offered GPS products to positively impact teen driving behavior. Prior to that, Shaila led marketing at EntryPoint, an early electronic payments company, and at Omnivoice Technologies, a speech-recognition software company. While at Verizon, she launched cellular into 25 new markets nationwide. She has received various accolades for her work including the Verizon President’s Leadership Award and the Sprint Intrapreneurship Award.

In the non-profit arena, Shaila has spent several years at NPR affiliate, KQED-FM in San Francisco producing various shows such as Forum and California Report. As senior producer for Animals Aloud, a public radio show that examines the historical, economic, and social context of animals, Shaila secured national distribution for the show, including a presence on XM Satellite Radio. Shaila has served as the interim Executive Director of the Regional Cancer Foundation and has volunteered time to Project Read, an adult literacy program.

She holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania where she double majored in Economics and Communications. Her MBA is in Entrepreneurship and Strategic Marketing from the Anderson School of Business at UCLA. Shaila is an accomplished classical pianist and essayist. Her writing examines family, identity, and culture and has been published in the New York Times, L.A. Times, Shondaland, and others.


Vishal Kapoor

Vishal brings success in entering new markets and driving high growth business strategy and execution. He has successfully incubated new businesses within large companies, driven OEM and joint development partnerships, and built engineering and marketing organizations.

He previously served as the CEO of Paradata, a machine learning-based RPA engine for analyzing and adjudicates supply chain component data. As Vice President, Product Management at Cadence Design Systems, Vishal successfully incubated and launched the EDA industry’s first SaaS solution & its entry into the Design IP segment. He previously led product management for vertical market solutions, professional services and enterprise software. Vishal also held roles in corporate development, strategy & partnership at Cadence. While at Silicon Access Networks, Vishal developed & managed the company’s foray into the IP segment. As General Manager, he led the business unit to profitability in its first year. At Verisity Design, he was part of the team that developed an entirely new market segment in design verification.

He started his career engaged in the discovery of the Higgs Boson, developing big data, IoT and tiered data acquisition systems at the Superconducting Super Collider for the U.S. Department of Energy.

Vishal earned a B.S. in Engineering from the University of Bombay and an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Texas specializing in Advanced Computer Architecture and Artificial Intelligence. Vishal was the co-founder of the higher education startup Vocareum. He has served on the boards of several companies and currently serves on the boards of Class Central and Paradata, the Design Council of The Tinkering Labs and the Advisory Boards of Satalia and Etairos.
